So, after nearly two months of living without Internet, I am finally back!

Back Story: I moved into a new apartment, so Internet had to be shut off for what we thought would be a couple weeks, but several things happened that prevented me from getting online right away (changing providers, buying a new router...) But now I'm back, *whew* The scanner still isn't hooked up, but hopefully that will happen soon!

Not a lot happened in that period, except that I finished my summer classes, and drew a LOT in my new free time. Oh, and I got a haircut! It looks strange, because my hair, which was once incredibly curly and long, is now super straight and short for the first time in my life. And I also know how Kira Izuru feels, because I have a bang that falls over my left eye and blocks my vision nearly completely. xD Hooray for lack of depth perception!

1.What is your DeviantArt name and what does it mean?
Way back in 2004, I decided to join Gaia, and wanted a magical sounding name XD So I made up Arda Earthsong; Arda is the name of one of the Valar from the Lord of the Rings series, and Earthsong fit with her being the goddess of earth. Plus it sounded pretty. I stayed on Gaia all of two days before getting bored and abandoning my account, but the name stuck.

2. Why did you join this site?
I didn't want to for the longest time, because I was afraid of people stealing my art. But once I decided to start selling pieces, I wanted a place to showcase it so that people would come and buy. (Though I currently haven't put up anything other than old fanart)
